SCORN MAGAZINE

Scorn Magazine is created for women, by women. It features an article about the historical evolution of makeup, how to fight stereotypes, and a photo essay on feminine rage featuring different poems.
I created this magazine based on a series of photos I took for my photography class that tell the story of feminine rage, and how women are often categorized as hysterical for showing their emotions. I showcase some of these photos in the photo essay section of the magalog. I then decided to continue the theme of feminism in the other featured spreads, took the photos for each spread, as well as created the titles and headlines through hand-done typography using lipstick.
